The removable cooling container
Our Active solution is a removable cooling container that turns your conventional commercial vehicle in a refrigerated vehicle. It is installed without the necessary adjustments to the vehicle, which means that the vehicle remains in its original condition. This enables you to convert your standard commercial vehicle into a refrigerated vehicle without much effort. VebaBox Active is available for all brands and models of Electric commercial vehicles.
VebaBox Active is connected to your vehicle’s 12V connection and switches ‘on’ automatically when you start the vehicle. In addition, our Active solution always has a 230V connection, which makes it possible to (pre-)cool VebaBox Active before delivery or during an overnight stop.

The VebaBox can be opened from the back with a double door. As a result, it is not necessary to open the entire VebaBox to gain access to your cargo. In this way, not too much temperature is lost when the VebaBox is opened.

In this configuration, the cooling unit of the VebaBox is located at the top of the box. On smaller VebaBoxes, it is located on the back of the box. The cooling unit of the VebaBox is easily replaceable, so that we can be available quickly in case of problems.
As can be seen in the picture, it is also possible to access the cargo in the VebaBox from the side door. Not all VebaBoxes come with a side door as standard, but can be added on request. It can also be supplied with a rear door only.
A significant advantage of our Active solution is that it is an one-time investment. As the box is removable, you can reinstall it into a new vehicle once it is written-off. Hence, you only invest in a reliable cooling solution once.
With the VebaBox Active, an extremely fast service is possible if the cooling machine is defective. Our Active solution has a removable cooling unit, which is easy to detach thanks to 2 screws. It can be removed without any problems.
